April 14 & 15, 2020 we start the preliminary rounds of the Dutch International Flute Competition for master and bachelor students, young talents and piccolo students: you can download the timetables right here(version of March 7, 2020).
Besides vouchers, instruments and incentive prizes (free participation at masterclasses), one of the laureates will be invited to play at a lunch break concert in the recital hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam in October 2020.
We receive an increasing number of questions about our flute competition related to the corona virus. Decisions will be made on April 3, based on the current situation and will be published on our website and social media. In case of a cancellation everyone involved will be informed by e-mail.
Jeroen D'hoe wrote 'Patchwork' for piccolo and marimba (or piano) especially for the Dutch International Piccolo Competition for students.
You can listen to this new composition during the preliminary rounds on Wednesday April 15 and the final round on Saturday 18, 2020. The adjudicators in the final round are Anaïs Benoit, Christopher Green, Nicola Mazzanti and Ilonka Kolthof
