Grand Finale with orchestra

The compulsory pieces for the Grand Finale in 2024 are:

Bachelor students: Lars-Erik Larsson, Concertino for flute and string orchestra
Master students: Jean-Michel Damase, Sérénade pour flûte et orchestre à cordes

Prizes in 2024

Who's next?
One of the laureates of the Dutch International Flute Competition will play in the recital hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on May 22, 2024.

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners in the categories bachelor and master students receive a voucher of € 2000,- respectively € 1000,- and € 500,- to be spent at Adams European Flute Centre.

The incentive prizes are free participation at the: 
Forum International Flute and Piano in Diekirch, Luxembourg
International Flute Seminar Bruges, Belgium

More prizes will be published in January...

New: traverso competition

New: in 2024 we will organize the first Dutch International Traverso Competition for students as a spin-off of the flute competition. 

The deadline for signing-up for traverso students (including uploading your video performance) is February 15.

The compulsory pieces for the online preliminary round are:
1. Anna Bon, Sonata no. 2 in F major op. 1 
2. Michel Blavet, Sonata no. 3 in E minor op. 2

And choose from one of the following solo pieces:
Georg Philipp Telemann, one of the 12 Fantasies
