The personal feedback of our adjudicators will inspire you. Therefore attending this competition will be a step forward in your professional career. Besides a well-organized competition, we offer you the opportunity to gain contacts for life!

15th Dutch International Flute Competition

Are you a bachelor or master flute student, piccolo student or are you a young talent? Then register for your own category. Every year, more than 150 flute students from 25 different countries and all continents participate in this competition. In 2026 we will organize a traverso competition again.

We offer you a well-organized competition, a great festival and the opportunity to gain contacts for life...

January 1, 2025: closing date for online registration
February 1, 2025: closing date for submitting all videos
March 1, 2025: announcement of the participant selection
April 22 & 23, 2025: 2nd round (live)
April 24, 2025: 3rd round (live)
April 25, 2025: rehearsal day (and start of the festival)
April 26, 2025: Grand finale for bachelor and master students with orchestra
April 26, 2025: concert with the prize winners and orchestra
April 26, 2025: final round piccolo students
April 27, 2025: final round young talents
June 4, 2025: concert in the recital hall of the Concertgebouw Amsterdam

18th International Adams Flute Festival

Don't miss it: three days of gaining new experiences, exchanging ideas, getting lessons, playing along, testing instruments, listening to concerts and of course the flute competition!

Save the date: ticket sale will start on Januari 15th at 10:00 am (CET). Make sure you are on time because the tickets will sell out very quickly! We hope to see you again during the festival.

Voor alle amateurfluitisten

Kom luisteren: jong & oud laten van zich horen tijdens www.defluitwedstrijd.nl op 12 januari in Berlicum i.s.m. muziekschool Médèz.

De Fluitwedstrijd is geen concours, want iedereen valt in de prijzen! Ook als je pas een paar maanden dwarsfluit speelt...

Je kunt meedoen aan de www.defluitwedstrijd.nl als je op de datum van de wedstrijd in één van deze leeftijdscategorieën valt:
5 t/m 9 jaar
10 t/m 13 jaar
14 t/m 18 jaar
18 jaar en ouder

Tijdens de wedstrijd krijgen de deelnemers 5 minuten de tijd om hun favoriete muziekstuk te laten horen. Ze worden tevoren in groepjes ingedeeld zodat ze weten hoe laat ze moeten spelen. Ook kunnen ze meedoen aan een leuke workshop.

Op www.defluitwedstrijd.nl vind je alle info en kan je de foto’s bekijken van afgelopen fluitwedstrijden. De volgende fluitwedstrijd wordt in het najaar georganiseerd in Noord-Nederland.
